he plays with flour, i get burned

This afternoon I learned the following:
-Do not leave a bag of groceries on the floor and then leave the house (even if it only contains canned goods, flour, and rice) when you have a dog.
-At least one dog I know doesn't mind inhaling flour and uncooked rice.
-Dogs do not digest uncooked rice very well.
-It is incredibly irritating trying to clean a rug with flour embedded in it.
-It is incredibly irritating cleaning flour paw prints on the floor, sofa, and comforter.
-When flour and water mix, it sticks to fur really well.

stocking is hung

Grandma made Pirate a new stocking that is bone-a-fide-adorable. He is sure to have visions of treats and toys tonight. Happy Christmas Eve!

Hot chocolate? Check. Blanket? Check. Lamb and Salmon dog treat? Check.

Pirate and I drove around town last night to look at the lights, with the heat and the Christmas music on full blast. So very merry.

new toys

Pirate and I both got new toys- a squeaky bear and a video camera- and tried them out today. His lasted about 20 minutes and I'm disappointed with the quality of the camera, although it is a fine first recorder for me. Here are short videos of our playtime.
